An Investment Club for Schools

Also available in Suomi

I have been wondering whether it would be possible to add investment clubs to the after-school club offering for children in grades 1–6 and 7–9, where they would learn about managing their own money and investing.

How should you approach this, and which associations could support it?

At least the Finnish Shareholders’ Association has the Young Shareholders network, which runs activities for young people. I wonder whether its activities already reach primary schools? Let’s find out together.

Young Shareholders is a network for young investors and young people interested in investing. The network aims to inspire and guide young people to invest and save wisely, and to advocate for young people, for example on questions about the income limits of student financial aid.
