Selling fund units tax-free

In Finland, a capital gain received by a private individual or an estate is not taxable income if the total sale prices of the property sold during the tax year are no more than 1,000 euros (Income Tax Act, section 48, subsection 6). On the other hand, a capital loss on such property is not deductible if the total acquisition costs of the property sold during the tax year are no more than 1,000 euros (Income Tax Act, section 50, subsection 2).
